The Peer Mentoring Program gives participants of all ages the opportunity to get out and about and socialise in small groups of 2 or 3 participants.
The program’s focus is to provide new experiences through fun social activities and to promote confidence and independent living skills amongst peers. Participants are carefully matched based on age, interests and abilities.
Each Peer Mentoring group takes place once a month on weekends. Activities are approximately 6 hours per session and have a central drop off and pick up location which is accessible for families and participants. The Peer Mentoring Program is delivered by qualified Community Inclusion Workers at a ratio of one staff to two participants. Higher intensity support can be delivered on group activities if required. Participants can also take part in groups which better fit their current developmental needs so please contact us should you have any questions.
